Shea Giordimaina

Director/Junior and Senior school teacher

EDN Dance Company's director. Shea began dancing when she was just 2 years old and has been training for the last 30 years. She has trained in all dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Acrobatics and Hip Hop. Shea has been performing in dance competitions and performances for as long as she can remember. She has also helped run a number of dance competitions throughout the years.

Studying dance in year 12 saw her passing with high marks which she followed up by completing her Cecchetti intermediate exam with a mark of highly commended. She has also studied under the ATOD to recieve her Certificate in Dance Teaching and Management. 

She has completed her certification for acrobatic teacher through Acrobatic Arts and a certification of flexibility with Alixa Flexibility.

Shea has also completed a Certificate III in Business.

While dance is her major passion, she has also adjudicated a number of beauty pageants and owned a baby and toddler program called Hartbeeps. She throughly enjoyed working with her staff and all Hartbeeps attendees. 

Being a busy mum of three girls also keeps her on her toes!

 

Sheas passion for dance and teaching ensures she strives to give each student the most encouragement and support that she can. 

Andrew Drossinis

Andrew has many qualifications under his belt. He finished year 12 with high marks and went on to study personal training at TAFE and received his Certificate III in Fitness.

On completion of this, he went on to study remedial massage at RMIT and finished with a diploma and top marks. 

Andrew has also completed the Acrobatic Arts Certification in 2016. His knowledge in all fields helps him to be a fantastic teacher and asset at EDN Dance Company. 

He is also a dad to three beautiful little girls.

Ruby Johnson
Junior and Senior school teacher/Acrobatics coach

Ruby has been dancing since a young age in all styles of dance.

At a young age Ruby has completed Cecchetti ballet exams, TAAD Ballet, jazz and tap exams.

She has completed diploma of dance from Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance as part of their full time course as well as her certificate 4 in Dance teaching and management. Ruby has also completed her certification with Acrobatic Arts.

 

 She is a very passionate dancer and teacher.. She has been involved in many professional performances, including dancing as pre game entertainment at the MCG for beyond blue, Tourism Australia Gala Dinner and performing on live television for The Footy Show Grand Final Revue. She has also  been a part of a live dance performance at White Night Melbourne.

Ahrain Kidman-Schier

Ahrain has always had a passion for dance and drama since a young age. 

She has been performing for many years with groups such as the Australian girls choir. 

She is a primary school teacher and while this keeps her very busy she still finds time to help out at EDN. 

As a mum of three beautiful girls, Ahrain spends a lot of time at the studio and is an integral part of the team.
