Miss Shea

Director of EDN Dance Company, Shea has undergone extensive training in various dance styles, including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop. Notably, she holds a certification in Acrobatics from the prestigious Acrobatic Arts. Shea completed her Cecchetti Intermediate Exam with a mark of Highly Commended. and has also obtained a certificate in Dance Teaching and Management. Furthermore, she has successfully completed her qualification in Alixa Flexibility, making her well-versed in the art of safe stretching and conditioning techniques.

Miss Briany

As the new business partner at EDN Dance Company, Briany brings a wealth of small business knowledge and is passionate about helping small business to grow and have ongoing success. Whilst her dancing skills do not exceed past the subtle side shuffle, her experience in business management spans decades. With qualifications in Event Management and Small Business Management, Briany’s experience will see the administrative and operational processes run smoothly freeing up Miss Shea to focus on what she does best, creatively.

Miss Ruby

Miss Ruby has been dancing since the age of 6, and has been teaching since she was 19. Growing up, Ruby studied Cecchetti ballet, as well as training and competing in a number of styles. After finishing high school, she studied her diploma of dance and cert IV in dance teaching at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance full time pre-professional course. Ruby also holds a M1 acrobatic arts certification. She is also a member of Habitat Dance Company, a local contemporary dance company. Miss Ruby is passionate about teaching safe dance practices and solid technique, as well as sharing her love of dance with her students.

Miss Bronte

Bronte Hood is a 20-year-old dancer and performer with a deep passion for bringing art to life through movement.

Recently graduating from a two-year dance diploma through Kelly Aykers full time dance program. She has honed her skills in both performance and teaching, using her experiences to inspire others.

Bronte's love for dance shines through in every performance and class she leads, as she strives to share the knowledge and techniques she's acquired while nurturing creativity and confidence in the people she teaches. EDN Dance Company is very excited to welcome Bronte to our family this year!

Miss Piper

Piper is a passionate and dedicated dance teacher at EDN, currently in her final year of high school at just 17 years old. With a deep-seated love for dance that began when she was only two, Piper has immersed herself in the performing arts and dreams of one day shining on stage in professional productions.

Her dance journey started with ballet, but soon expanded to include Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. Alongside her dance training, Piper discovered her love for singing, enriching her artistic toolkit. Although she took a brief break in 2019 to try cheerleading, her heart led her back to dance, reaffirming her commitment to this expressive art form.

Looking ahead, Piper intends to pursue a career in Musical Theatre at a professional level and aims to attend prestigious schools across Australia. Ultimately, she aspires to become a Performing Arts teacher, inspiring the next generation of artists.

Piper's teaching journey began in 2020 as an assistant at EDN. She finds joy in helping her students grow, improve, and discover their own love for dance.
