Miss Shea
As the Director of EDN Dance Company, Shea seamlessly combines her extensive expertise with a profound commitment to the art of dance. Her diverse training spans various styles, including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Acrobatics, and Hip Hop, establishing her as a versatile and adaptable teacher. Shea holds a prestigious certification in Acrobatics from the renowned Acrobatic Arts program and achieved a Highly Commended mark in her Cecchetti Intermediate Exam. Additionally, her certificate in Dance Teaching and Management emphasizes her comprehensive understanding of the dance education landscape.
Shea has also completed numerous courses in safe dance practices, which empower her to implement secure techniques that prioritize the health and well-being of her students. This dedication to safety enhances her teaching methods, ensuring that every dancer not only flourishes artistically but also builds a solid foundation for physical development.
Her experience as a mother of four daughters significantly enriches her abilities as an instructor. This role has cultivated her skills in patience, empathy, and communication, all of which are vital for nurturing young talent. Shea’s deep passion for dance inspires her students to embrace creativity and confidence as they refine their skills.
Creating a vibrant and supportive studio atmosphere, Shea empowers the next generation of dancers to express themselves openly and fearlessly. Under her guidance, the journey of dance transforms into an enriching adventure for all fortunate enough to learn from her expertise and enthusiasm.
Miss Georgia
Georgia has been dancing for 20 years. She did 3 years of Full Time Dance training at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance- 2 years Dance and 1 year Musical Theatre.
Georgia has been dance teaching for several years and loves training the new generation of dancers coming through. Georgia is Classically Trained in Royal Academy of Dance Ballet but her passion for teaching lies in Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Heels and Hip Hop.
A few of Georgias credits include Music Videos, Commercials, Michael Jackson Tribute Show, Crown Entertainment Dancer and is currently an NBL Dancer.
Georgia is a passionate and caring dance teacher who loves supporting her students and watching the grow and achieve their goals!
Miss Briany
As the new business partner at EDN Dance Company, Briany brings a wealth of small business knowledge and is passionate about helping small business to grow and have ongoing success. Whilst her dancing skills do not exceed past the subtle side shuffle, her experience in business management spans decades. With qualifications in Event Management and Small Business Management, Briany’s experience will see the administrative and operational processes run smoothly freeing up Miss Shea to focus on what she does best, creatively.
Miss Amity
Amity began dancing from a young age, developing a strong technical foundation through years of dedicated training. Originally from Perth, she has trained extensively across a wide range of styles, with a particular focus on jazz, tap, classical ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and commercial dance. Amity has also completed her CSTD examinations in jazz, tap, and classical ballet.At fifteen, Amity transitioned into full-time dance training while completing her schooling through distance education. In 2023, she moved to Melbourne to train with Transit Dance under the guidance of Jayden Hicks, Priscilla Consentino, and Paul Malek, graduating in 2025 with a Diploma of Dance and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management.Amity is passionate about nurturing confident, expressive, and technically strong dancers. Her teaching style emphasises creativity, musicality, and storytelling, while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students can grow both artistically and personally.
Miss Eva
Miss Jasmine
Jasmine began her dance journey at EDN at just 11 years old and has been a valued member of the EDN family ever since. Under the mentorship of Miss Shea, she progressed into an assistant teaching role, where she discovered a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young dancers.
Over the past year, Jasmine has worked in the UK, supporting children aged 7–16 with additional needs and assisting teaching staff in educational settings. This invaluable experience has broadened her professional skills and enabled her to bring enhanced knowledge, understanding, and care to her work with students.
Jasmine is passionate about dance and aims to make sure that every student feels seen and heard in her classes.
Miss Caitlin
Caitlin started dancing at age 5 at Glenbrook Ballet Theatre in the Blue Mountains, NSW. She completed all of her RAD ballet exams and underwent 2 years of full-time training before graduating and being accepted into multiple different pre-professional programs, including WAAPA, the Welsh Ballet and the Victorian State Ballet. Caitlin graduated from the Victorian State Ballet pre-professional program and was then promoted to be in the company and has danced all over Australia in the past few years. Along with extensive ballet training, she also has trained in contemporary and jazz for many years and has a real love for choreography.
Eva Black is a 19-year-old passionate performer and dance teacher! Eva's passion for dancing is evident in every performance and lesson she teaches. She has a strong desire to share her visions through her dancing and creative pieces. Eva recently completed her two-year dance diploma from Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance full-time program. Eva has also completed ballet RAD exams up to Intermediate, and Tapatak Oz exams up to Teen advanced two. She has developed her performance and teaching abilities, drawing inspiration from her own experiences.Eva carries a lot of energy through her classes ensuring that students remain engaged when learning key skills and also have an amazing time!
